Cannondale Jekyll 2 - 2018, Small
The 2018 Cannondale Jekyll 2 is a high-performance carbon enduro machine designed for the most demanding alpine descents and technical race stages. Cannondale, founded in 1971 in Connecticut, has a long-standing reputation for pushing the boundaries of suspension engineering, and this generation of the Jekyll was developed in collaboration with enduro legend Jerome Clementz. Featuring a BallisTec carbon front triangle in a striking Silver and Neon Pink colorway, the Jekyll 2 utilizes a refined single-pivot design with a Linkage-Driven shock to provide a plush yet supportive ride feel.
This Size Small build features a significant suspension setup, pairing a Fox Float 36 Performance fork (170mm travel) with a premium Fox Float X Factory rear shock upgraded with Kashima coating. The hallmark of the Jekyll is the Gemini remote system, allowing the rider to toggle between "Flow Mode" (165mm travel) for wide-open descending and "Hustle Mode" (130mm travel) for a more progressive, efficient feel on technical climbs and flow trails. The mechanical SRAM GX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain provides reliable shifting across a 10-50T range, while SRAM Guide R 4-piston brakes deliver consistent stopping power.
Rolling on a 27.5" mullet-ready chassis with Stan's ZTR Flow S1 aluminum wheels, the bike is wrapped in the classic Maxxis Minion DHF/DHR II combination for world-class cornering grip. The cockpit is dialed with a short 30mm LV stem and a Fabric saddle on a Cannondale DownLow dropper post. With a balanced 407mm Reach and a slack 65° head angle, this Jekyll is a maneuverable and aggressive trail weapon. While it shows some dings and scratches from active trail use, it remains in good mechanical condition and is 100% ready for its next session in the mountains.
